Why we publish these reports
Suspicious-activity reports rarely make headlines, but they are how a community builds its early-warning picture. The reports from three separate households allowed the control room to direct a patrol to the right streets within minutes — that is exactly how the system is designed to work.
Community guidance
If you notice a vehicle or person that seems out of place, report it to the control room immediately — do not wait to be sure, and do not approach. Note what you safely can: colour, make, direction of travel. Every report sharpens the picture for your whole suburb.
